What To Do Once You Arrive On Campus For Summer School 2017

STEP #: 1 Register for Classes in CAMS


1)Visit your academic advisor for selecting and uploading courses into CAMS system
2)For a list of courses, go to Saint Augustine’s University website and click Summer 2017 schedule.

STEP #: 2


1)Must have 2016-2017 FAFSA.
2)Complete Financial Aid Summer Application and submit to FAO no later than June 1.
3)Must enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours.
4)Students must be meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress or have an approved Financial Aid appeal to attend summer school.
5)Receive Financial Aid Notification via student SAU email.

All students attending summer school may be awarded financial based on their 2016-2017 FAFSA application. Most students who attended fall 2016 and spring 2017 used federal financial aid and may not be eligible or have limited funding. Students should submit a completed summer school application via email to cdcohen-perry@st-aug.edu or return the printed application to the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarship. Upon receipt of the summer school financial aid application, a financial aid counselor will send an email notification to the student’s SAU email. Students should be sure to gain access to their email and check their awards on the CAMS portal.

BUSINESS AND FINANCE INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTERING FOR 2017 SUMMER SCHOOL

STEP #: 3 PAY BILL BY MONDAY, JUNE 5, 2017.

  • Pay on-line. Login to the Student Portal with: Username, Password, and Term.
            1) SELECT: My Ledger
            2) SELECT: Make a Payment and
            3) Follow the instructions until you receive your payment confirmation number.
  • Pay in person in the Cashier’s Office by cash, check, money order or credit card.
  • Call the Cashier’s Office at (919) 516-4070 for credit card payment by telephone.
  • Proceed to Step #4

  • STEP #: 4 FINANCIAL CLEARANCE, ID CARD VALIDATION AND RESIDENCE HALL/CAFE ACCESS

    • ALL STUDENTS
            o Go to Hunter Building Basement, Room 10 and receive financial clearance.
            o Get your ID Card validated to attend class and get official schedule.
    • BOARDING STUDENTS ONLY
            o Get your ID Card validated for residence hall and café access.
            o Proceed to your residence hall to check-in.

    STEP #: 5

    1) Complete the housing form (Note: You should complete the form even if you will live off-campus)

    NOTE: ONLY BOARDING STUDENTS WITH FINANCIAL CLEARANCE WILL BE ALLOWED TO CHECK-IN RESIDENCE HALLS

    STEP #: 6 GO TO CLASS

    • Classes start Tuesday, June 6, 2017.
    • Last Day to add/drop is June 9, 2017.
