Employee Giving Month

October is Employee Giving Month. We invite faculty and staff to make a difference in the lives of our students by participating in the Employee Giving Campaign. There is no specific dollar amount the College is looking to raise; instead we are asking for 100 percent participation from all faculty and staff members. For more information about the campaign, call 516-4092 or e-mail development@st-aug.edu.

Falcons dominate in 28-6 win over Livingstone

Two second-half interceptions keyed Saint Augustine's College to a 28-6 victory over Livingstone College in a CIAA football contest Saturday (Oct. 18) at Alumni Memorial Stadium. The Falcons defeated Livingstone on the Blue Bears' Homecoming Day.

Cornerback Myron Miller (Statesville, NC) returned one interception 20 yards for a touchdown to give the Falcons (3-5 overall, 2-3 CIAA) a 20-6 lead with 3:54 left in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, cornerback Charles McKenzie (Warner Robins, GA) ran back an interception 19 yards to the Livingstone 16-yard line which set up quarterback Kris Brownlee's (Philadelphia, PA) 11-yard touchdown run two plays later. Brownlee scored the two-point conversion to give the Falcons a 28-6 lead with 12:09 left in the game.
