Parking decals available

In our efforts to continue to maintain a safe and secure environment, the Campus Police Department is asking all students, faculty and staff who wish to park on campus to purchase a decal. Parking decals for the 2008-2009 school year are available in the cashier’s office. Prices remain unchanged from last year. Decals are $30 for students and decals for faculty and staff are $60 for general parking. Decals for reserved parking are $80 and $100. Campus police officials will need to see a valid driver’s license and registration before you can buy a decal. Vehicle registration forms are available in the cashier’s office in Hunter Building or at the police department in Lynch Hall. Campus police officers have begun enforcing parking rules and are issuing citations to those without decals.

Want to make your voice heard in this historic presidential race and have a say in who leads local government? Oct. 10 is the last day to register for the November elections. Students can register in Wake County or request an absentee ballot if they’ve already registered in their hometowns.
