The FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) Investor Education Foundation invites nonprofit groups and researchers to apply for funding for projects that support its mission of providing Americans with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary for financial success. Of particular interest to the foundation in 2009 are projects that focus on using behavioral finance to improve saving and investing, meeting the financial and investor education needs of underserved audiences, opening new marketing and distribution channels for financial and investor education, and helping Americans manage their finances in retirement. The foundation has set no minimum or maximum on the number of grants to be funded or for the amounts of the individual grant awards. Bryant, Richards earn CIAA weekly basketball honors

Bryant, a 6-0 standout center, captured her fourth straight CIAA women’s rookie of the week honor. This is the sixth time this season that Bryant was voted the league’s top female freshman.
Bryant averaged 12 points and 7 rebounds in two games last week including 11 points to help the Lady Falcons sweep cross-town rival
Richards was named CIAA women’s coach of the week after directing the Lady Falcons to two victories last week, including Saturday’s 72-64 win over Shaw, winner of five of the last six CIAA titles. The weekly award is the fourth this season for Richards, a first-year coach.
