Running & Winning workshop: women in public service
The second annual Running & Winning workshop will be held Saturday, March 28, at Saint Mary’s High School from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This program brings together female college and high school students and elected women officials with the goal of encouraging the students to get involved and stay involved in public service. Women’s History Month movie nights
March is Women’s History Month, and in keeping with its tradition, the Prezell R. Robinson Library will continue to host Movie Night every Wednesday at 7 p.m. This month, the library will be featuring movies that depict women who have impacted history. On March 4, the feature presentation will be the 2007 Golden Globe Winner for Best Picture, “Dreamgirls,” starring Jennifer Holiday and Beyonce Knowles.
The story, based on the 1981 Broadway musical, is one of greed, tough hate and romance. Three young women – Deena Jones, Effie White, and Lorrell Robinson – desire to become pop stars and get their wish when they're chosen as backup singers for legendary performer James "Thunder" Early.
New TrackIt process
In order to better understand issues and streamline responses to problems relating to technology, the Center for Information Technology (CIT) has made improvements to the support ticketing system, TrackIt, which is used to report your concerns. You will no longer be able to e-mail TrackIt, Helpdesk, or Technology using Outlook. Trouble tickets are now reported to CIT through our campus web site. The instructions are as follows:
-Log onto www.st-aug.edu
-Click on the "Faculty and Staff" tab
-Click the "Technology" tab
-Click the "Support Ticket" button and fill out the necessary information.
In the event that you are having computer issues which prevent you from accessing the web site from your PC, please utilize another PC to completely fill out a support ticket.

Lady Falcons win CIAA Sportsmanship Award
The
Lady Falcon players Keyona Bryant and Allison Sikes were chosen to the CIAA Women’s All-Tournament team after leading
Bryant, the CIAA female rookie of the year, averaged 15.7 points and 7.4 rebounds in three tournament games including 28 points and 13 rebounds in an upset victory over second seed

Fain named to All-CIAA Tournament Team
Hayward Fain of Saint Augustine’s College was selected to the 2009 All-CIAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Team on Saturday, February 28, at Time Warner Cable Arena.
Fain averaged 12.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in two tournament games, including 11 points and 11 rebounds in Friday’s semifinal loss to
