The Center for Information Technology, Web Services, provides support and technical help to Web publishing community at Saint Augustine's College in order to effectively meet the goals of a student-centered learning community. Services are offered to faculty, and staff for departmental and personal web pages loaded on Saint Augustine's servers. Access rights for coding editors, online calendars, and content creators are managed through Web Services. After following proper procedures, Web services appointments can be scheduled for assistance with Web-related issues. All Web publishing issues involve Public Relations and the Institutional Advancement to ensure that Saint Augustine's Web Presence is following communication and vision goals.
Saint Agustine's Web Site
The Saint Augustine's Web site was analyzed and re-designed by Web Services. Launched in September 2008, this complete redesign of the campus Web site included first-, second-, and third-tier pages, including every administrative department and academic unit, and to soon offer a virtual tour. New features include campus photographs, dynamic events calendars that integrate with campus events.
Saint Augustine's Site Organization and Structure.
The Saint Augustine's home page is designed around the concept of constituent-based links. This means that each visitor to the site can travel immediately to a section of the site developed specifically for his or her user group (or area of interest). This is particularly important because University sites have a broad variety of constituents, and site visitors are looking for very different kinds of information and resources.
Saint Augustine's College Web Services:
Constituent Groups
The St. Augustine's constituent-based links have been defined as follows:
- Admissions
- Academics
- Financial Aid
- Administration
- Prospective Students
- Current Students
- Parents Association
- Alumni Affairs
- Faculty & Staff
- Library
- WAUG
- Falcon News
- Athletics
The constituent-based links are established to be persistent throughout the site, even as a user navigates through the variety of pages under the iuk.edu domain. The St. Augustine's Web templates are set up to accommodate these links.
Strategically Organized
Web Services follows the principles of good site organization. We have designed this site with our students, faculty and staff, parents, prospective students, and other users expectations in mind.
Statement of Policy
It is the policy of the college to ensure that official information published on its Web site(s) correctly represents Saint Augustine's College and its mission; is accurate, well-written, timely and visually appealing; and is of the same high standards as other official communications.

If there is to be more than one Web Manager, each individual Web Manager must complete a separate Access Agreement. Please read the Hosting and Access Agreement carefully before submitting it, so you will be able to follow the regulations and procedures on the form. If any of the regulations are unclear, please ask for clarification before signing the form.
