Visual Arts Major

The Visual Arts program promotes creativity and intellectual engagement in the arts. Emphasis is on the mastery of contemporary computer processes as well as the traditional media of two- and three-dimensional art forms with the specific aim of a well-rounded educational experience.

The program offers an introduction to skills necessary for success in the competitive world of studio and graphic arts.

Admission Requirements for Visual Arts Majors

Visual Arts candidates must obtain a 2.5 in the fundamental art courses (ART 100, 101, 102, and 103) and a cumulative GPA of 2.0.
