Dr. Hengameh G. Allen is a clinical healthcare, peer-reviewed subject matter expert in nutrition biochemistry, public health (chronic disease prevention and treatment including diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, obesity, STDs, and HIV/AIDS), research, scientific writing, and large-scope program implementation.

  • Investigating the effect of natural bioactive compounds on cellular insulin uptake

Public Health interests include:

  • Reducing the burden of health disparities through increasing health literacy in the affected population
  • Improving population health status through innovative public health intervention programs

Gary Matsey, M.S. - Assistant Professor

Mr Gary Matsey is an experienced professor with expertise in nutrition biochemistry and human nutrition.
