On January 9, WAUG broadcasted the first live telecast of the Falcons home basketball games. Moving forward, fans can follow home Falcon basketball games via WAUG-TV on Time Warner Cable's channel 168.

The production requires various WAUG personnel and students, which includes WAUG staff and St. Aug students; including sideline reporter Ryan Pittman. Pittman is responsible for pre-game predictions, half-time interviews with the coaches and post game summations.

"The live televised broadcast of the Falcons' home games is just one way in which WAUG-TV 168 continues to be creative with our programming," stated Katrina Dix, General Manager of St. Aug's WAUG-TV. "There is a need to highlight our Institution's athletic and academic achievements. What better way than to start by showing a quality broadcast of the Falcons!"
