Monday, May 7, 2012 Saint Augustine's University kicked off their annual Faculty and Educational Support Staff Professional Development Institute. The theme of the 2012 Institute was, "Transforming Our Institution."

President Dianne Boardley Suber delivered the "State of the University" address, in which she challenged faculty members to raise their own bar and take risks. "As an institution, we are taking a risk by becoming a university," Suber said. "You've been able to be a great faculty doing what you do comfortably. I invite you to step out of your comfort zone."

The Institute ran through May 11, 2012.
