College Provides Thanksgiving Dinner for Local Families
Nov. 21, 2011

Saint Augustine's University is helping to give local families something extra to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. The University is donating 65 baskets filled with all the fixings to make a full Thanksgiving feast. The food items were donated by faculty, staff and students.
“This annual event is just one of the ways that Saint Augustine’s University acknowledges its accountability to and presence in our community. Just as importantly, it demonstrates our commitment to the University’s core value of community and diversity,” President Dr. Dianne Boardley Suber said.
The families who received baskets were identified by Wake County Human Services.
