College's CDC Dedicates Ground for New Housing

Thursday, February 2, Saint Augustine's University and its Community Development Corporation (CDC), dedicated the Cooke Street Extension project with an onsite ceremony.
The mission of the Cooke Street project is to construct and complete more than 12 single family homes for first time homeowners.
"This opportunity to continue into phase 2 shows the University's commitment to the community,' stated President Dianne Boardley Suber. "This is just the beginning."
The dedication ceremony brought out several local leaders, including the Honorable Eugene Weeks. "This is what we're all about, trying to provide affordable housing for the community," stated Weeks. "St. Aug has a vision for this community, they are a good neighbor."
