On Wednesday, Feb. 20, President Dianne Boardley Suber met United Negro College Fund senior officials on campus to discuss their support of the potential St. Paul’s College acquisition. Dr. Michael Lomax, president and CEO of UNCF, and Mr. Early Reese, COO of UNCF, have committed the support of UNCF as Saint Augustine’s University works to create a unique model for other institutions with similar financial challenges. Saint Augustine’s University is still doing its due diligence on the viability of an acquisition. A final board decision is expected early April.
