Chinita Elliott was born and raised in Oxford, NC and graduated from ECPI University with a degree in Office Technology and Computers II. Prior to coming on board at Saint Augustine's University, Elliott was a customer service representative at Blue Cross Blue Shield.

She has been the Special Assistant to the Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Development, Marc Newman, for four years. She enjoys the busy environment and the multi-tasking she handles from day-to-day. Elliott’s patience and laid back demeanour makes her a perfect fit for the Advancement office.

Elliott is married with two children, 14 year old son Eddie and a 11 year old daughter Sierra. She enjoys spending time with her family, baking and playing Wii.
