Faculty/Staff Spotlight: Elizabeth Shareef
Elizabeth Shareef joined Saint Augustine’s University in July of 2011 as the administrative assistant for the Right of Way Program. Shareef earned a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy Analysis from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a MBA from North Carolina Central University.
She has worked in the banking and pharmaceutical industries, yet has a passion for the education field. Coming from a family of educators, it’s no surprise that while in graduate school, Shareef worked for a dean at Central. “I was taught that if you truly want to make a difference in someone’s life educate them,” stated Shareef. “That’s why I enjoy working at this university.”
