Saint Augustine's University Alumnus Tyrone Pettaway is the latest addition to the Tampa Bay Buccaneer Coaching Staff. While at Saint Augustine's University, Pettaway studied Human Performance and Wellness. He received various accolades including the Father Beatty Award, an award which salutes student athletes for their performance on the field and dedication to community service.

Tyrone Pettaway contributes much of his success to the late Coach Andre Waters who was an assistant coach during Mr. Pettaway's time at Saint Augustine's University. Pettaway was also CIAA Conference Player of the Year for 2006.

He wants students to value hard work and to never fear "taking risk or chances." Pettaway will serve as the defensive quality control coach as well as the assistant Linebacker coach for the Buccaneers.
