In 2011, Fox News Channel (FNC) selected Saint Augustine's University as one of two 2011-2012 nationwide partners for its Fox News Channel University /Ailes Rising Apprentice scholarship. Goodridge, a native of New York, is a senior majoring in Mass Communications with a concentration in broadcast journalism at SAU.
“The fact that FOX selected another SAU student suggests that SAU and its departments are doing an effective job of preparing students academically,” stated Dr. Dianne Boardley Suber, president of Saint Augustine’s University. “This is yet another great measure of a positive student outcome.” SAU graduate, Sakeeda Freeman, was the 2011-2012 Fox’s Rising Apprentice scholarship recipient.
