Congratulations on being accepted to Saint Augustine's College for the Fall 2010 semester. The Saint Augustine's College Staff looks forward to meeting you during the Summer Orientation Advising and Registration (SOAR). Summer Orientation Advising and Registration (SOAR) will take place during the summer months.
Summer Orientation Advising and Registration (SOAR):
» Is Committed to making the students' transition to Saint Augustine's College as smooth as possible.
» Assists students in achieving maximum academic, personal and career development.
» Familiarize students with College regulations and policies.
FRESHMAN STUDENT FEES:
» You will need to have paid the non-refundable $160.00 Enrollment deposit prior to registering for SOAR to secure your housing/enrollment as a SAC student.

Peer Mentors
As a Peer Mentor, you will be able to assist in accomplishing our mission of providing a challenging yet supportive environment for our first-year students during their transition to higher education. It is important for freshmen to view you as a positive role model, a guide, a peer adviser and a friend. Early arrival is for Leadership training and preparation for Welcome Week. Selected students have been chosen to arrive on campus Thursday, August 6, 2009 beginning at 8:00 am. All other Peer Mentors are asked to return to campus as you would according to the academic calendar. Be sure all documents necessary for registration are complete, such as housing deposit, financial aid, and a clear balance from the 09/SP Semester.
The First Year Experience (FYE) at Saint Augustine's College is a comprehensive program of academic and co-curricular activities. We work to provide a challenging yet supportive environment for our first-year students during their transition to higher education. Faculty, staff, administrators and students work together to cultivate a learning community which prepares and engages students academically, socially and spiritually for leadership in a complex, diverse, and rapidly changing world.

» To prepare first time freshman to the academic rigor for college.
