How to Find Current Periodicals

 

  1. Consult the Reference Librarian for our current printout or file. All are arranged on the wall to your RIGHT, alphabetically by TITLE.

  2. Find the title of the periodical/journal you are looking for. Consult the Librarian for BACK ISSUES.

  3. Current Periodicals/Journals DO NOT leave the Reference Area (the first floor). There is a copy machine for copying at the Check-Out Desk ($0.10 per copy).

How to Find Bound Periodicals

 

  1. Consult the Reference Librarian for our Bound Volumes print out. Our Bound Periodicals/Journals are found in the BOUND PERIODICALS SECTION in the REFERENCE area in the stacks to your right, arranged in alphabetical order.
  2. Find the Periodical/Journal you are looking for.

  3. Bound Periodicals/Journals DO NOT leave the REFERENCE AREA. There is a copy machine for coying at the Check-Out Desk ($0.10 per copy).

  4. If a Bound Volumn is not in Plave in the stacks, check at the Circulation/Reference Desk.

How to Find Current Newspapers

 

  1. All the current newspapers (state, national and foreign) are arranged alphabetically along the right inner wall of the Current Periodicals Reading Area.

  2. Newspapers are kept in the Current Periodicals Area for a week in most cases.

How to Find Old Newspapers

 

The back issues of the newspapers are kept for one month. Ask the Librarian at the Desk.
