Vehicle Repair Service
- A driver whose car breaks down, runs out of gas, etc. on campus must notify the Campus Police Department immediately if the car is not properly parked within marked spaces, in a unmarked area designated for parking, is somewhere other than assigned space, or is left on the property after hours for which his or her permit is valid. If the Campus Police Department is not notified, the vehicle may be subject to fines or towing) NOTES LEFT OR VEHICLES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE).
- A service mechanic removing a disable vehicle for emergency service may leave his or her own vehicle in the space from the vehicle is being removed. Provided it is properly identified as a service vehicle either by firms name being lettered on the side or by a company card or sign plainly visible in the windshield. Before removing a vehicle, the mechanic must notify the vehicle being removed, the area, the license plate number on the vehicle and who authorized the removal. Faculty, staff and students are responsible for informing the service mechanic of these requirements.
