Sheryl Lee Ralph's, Artist in Residence Visits to Saint Augustine's College

Sheryl Lee Ralph visited the campus of Saint Augustine's University March 22-23. She hosted various events for students and administration.

Ralph held a seminar for students on how to start a non-profit foundation, surviving in the entertainment industry and a book signing featuring her new book, "Redefining Diva: Life Lesson From the Original Dreamgirl."

Sheryl Lee Ralph originated the role of Deena Jones in "Dreamgirls" on Broadway and was nominated as best actress for both the Tony and Drama Desk Awards. The star of numerous TV shows-including Moesha and Designing Women-her extensive film credits include costarring with Robert De Niro in "Mistress" and Denzel Washington in "The Mighty Quinn." A mother of two with a blended family of four, Sheryl is married to Pennsylvania State Senator Vincent Hughes.
