FACULTY

GEORGE JACK serves as Program Coordinator, Director of Theatre, and Assistant Professor. Mr. Jack has been a professional actor for twenty-five years, performing in well over 100 stage productions, as well as on camera and in commercials. He has directed and taught classes on the college level for the past seventeen years and has additional professional experience as a playwright and screenwriter. He has a B.A. in Theatre from The College of William and Mary, an M.F.A. in Acting from the University of Louisville, and is an A.B.D. in Theatre and Drama from Indiana University.

ASHLEY McKINNEY, an Assistant Professor for the Theatre and Film Program, has her Master of Fine Arts from UCLA, with dual emphasis in cinematography and screenwriting. She has written and directed several short films which have been recognized at national and international film festivals.

ELLEN SHEPARD, Director of Film and Artist in Residence, is formerly the Director of the City of Oaks School of the Arts. Ms. Shepard relocated from Los Angeles where she has been in the theatre and film industry for the past 20 years. She is a professional screenwriter, member of the Writer’s Guild, award winning documentary filmmaker, playwright, and director. Her career includes management positions at 20th Century Fox Studios and Senior Producer of Documentaries at UCLA.
