Falcons Fall To Coker 21-7 In Baseball Opener

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Saint Augustine’s College dropped its baseball season opener 21-7 to Coker College Tuesday (Feb. 16) at Tom J. New Field.
Chris Vette (Jr./Hampton, Va.) drove in two runs for the Falcons, who collected 12 hits but had seven errors. Rashad Ingram (Jr./Savannah, Ga.) was 4-for-5 with a run and one RBI, and Joe Pierce (Jr./Wetumpka, Ala.) was 3-for-5 with a run and an RBI.
Wayne Lewis (So./Charlotte, N.C.) and Alex Howard (So./Wilson, N.C.) both scored and drove in a run, and Josh Bishop (Jr./Richmond, Va.) scored two runs for the Falcons, who visit Saint Paul’s College in a CIAA doubleheader Wednesday (Feb. 17) which starts at 1 p.m.
Saint Augustine’s College-Livingstone Basketball Doubleheader Rescheduled for Feb. 19

RALEIGH, N.C. – The basketball doubleheader between host Saint Augustine’s College and Livingstone College at Emery Gymnasium has been rescheduled to Feb. 19, which will be the Falcons’ last game of the regular season. The women’s game starts at 5:30 p.m. followed by the men’s game at 7:30 p.m.
The doubleheader will be designated as Senior Day. It will be the last regular-season games for men’s players George DeGroat, Hayward Fain, Brandon Hickson, Chris Jordan, Steven Brignol, and Kalvin Patterson, and women’s players Eliezer Iceson and Rudeesha Reese.
