Centerfielder Chrishauna Thomas of Saint Augustine’s College hit a home run Friday during the second game of a softball doubleheader against Bluefield State.

Thomas scored on an inside-the-park homer in the sixth inning of a 7-1 loss at Oakwood Park. The home run is the first this season for Thomas, a junior.

Bluefield State also won the first contest 17-3. Antoinette Bailey, Chantle Floyd and Kyuanna Foxx scored runs for the Falcons.
