Basketball standout Antonio Fitzgerald (Danville, VA) of Saint Augustine’s College was named to the 2007 North Carolina Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) College Division All-State Men’s Basketball Team for the second consecutive year.

The All-State team, released Thursday, May 3, 2007, comprises of a five-player first team and five-player second team. Teams are selected for men and women in both the college (Division II, Division III and NAIA) and university (Division I) divisions.

Fitzgerald, a 6-1 senior guard, was named to the second team. A two-time All-CIAA and All-Region pick, Fitzgerald ranked second in the CIAA and 15th nationally with a 21.7 scoring average. He scored over 1,000 points during his two-year career at Saint Augustine’s College.

Last year, Fitzgerald was chosen to the 2006 All-State first team.
