Saint Augustine’s College, coming off a 4-6 2006 campaign including 4-3 in the CIAA, has an exciting football schedule for 2007. The Falcons will visit NCAA Division II powerhouse Carson Newman College and 2006 CIAA champion North Carolina Central University, which begins its transition to Division I this season. In addition, the Falcons play crosstown rival Shaw University in the final regular season game.
Five home games highlight the schedule as Mars Hill College, Johnson C. Smith University, Virginia State University, Fayetteville State University, and Saint Paul’s College travel to Broughton High School Stadium in Raleigh, NC, to face the Falcons, who open the season against Mars Hill College on September 1, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. Saint Paul’s College is the Falcons’ homecoming opponent on October 20, 2007 at 2 p.m.
The Falcons play five away games including trips to North Carolina Central University, Carson Newman College, Virginia Union University, Livingstone College and Shaw University.
The contests against Mars Hill College, North Carolina Central University and Carson Newman College are non-conference games.
