AUGUSTA, GA – Junior Aaron Oliver (Pittsburgh, PA) of Saint Augustine’s College defeated Sean Lucas of Paine in a sudden death playoff to win the Paine College Golf Invitational on Tuesday (March 18) at Forest Hills Golf Course.

Falcon Golfers Finish Third at CIAA Western Division Tourney

CHARLOTTE, NC –Saint Augustine's College opened the 2008 spring golf season with a third-place finish at the CIAA Western Division Tournament held March 10-11 at the par 72, 6,334-yard Myers Golf Course.

Fayetteville State won the tournament with a two-day score of 564 (12 under) followed by Virginia State with a score of 586 and the Falcons with a score of 633.

Wells Places Third Among Division II Golfers at Black College Invitational

Julius Wells of Saint Augustine’s College finished 3rd among Division II golfers and 18th overall with a three-over par 147 score at the Black College Invitational held September 28-29 at Browns Mill Golf Course. Wells shot a 72 the first day and a 75 the second day on the par 72 course.
