Ken Samoei of Saint Augustine’s College won the 3000-meter run and the Falcons’ quartet of Randy Curry, Jamaal Torrance, Alvin Miles and Laurias Eugene won the 4x400 relay at the Christopher Newport University Holiday Open indoor track and field meet on Sunday, December 3, 2006.
Samoei crossed the finish line in 8:55.20, ahead of unattached runner Anthony Gallo, who finished in 8:58.88. The Falcons won the men’s 4x400 relay in 3:16.13, ahead of Hampton University, which placed second in 3:18.68.
