Marquita Davis’ victory in the 100-meter hurdles highlighted a good weekend by the Saint Augustine’s College women at the Carolina Fast Times Meet held April 14-15 on University of North Carolina’s campus.

Davis won the 100 hurdles in 14.17 seconds. Johnsie Liles was second in both the 200 and 400 dashes in 24.10 and 53.58 seconds, respectively, and Dana Robinson finished second in the 400 hurdles in 59.80. The women’s 4x100 relay team was second in 46.97.

In the men’s division, Jamaal Torrance placed second in the 400 dash in 46.60, and Joe Kindred was second in the high jump with a height of 6-7.50. Dennis Boone was third in the 100 dash in 10.95.
