Winston-Salem State swept Saint Augustine’s College 13-0 and 10-2 Tuesday in a CIAA softball doubleheader.
Tereah Albury collected the Falcons only hit in the first game on a first-inning single. In the second game, the Falcons earned five hits including two from shortstop Raquel Spencer. Her triple in the first inning scored Xyena Johnson, who reached base on a single. Spencer doubled in the third inning.
The Falcons (2-8 overall, 2-4 CIAA) visit Pfeiffer Thursday in a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m.
