| PEMBROKE, NC – |

|
Samantha Joseph (St. Michael, Barbados) led Saint Augustine’s College with nine kills but UNC Pembroke was too much in a 3-0 victory Thursday in a non-conference volleyball match. The 30-21, 30-15, 30-9 score dropped the Lady Falcons to 13-5 overall while UNC Pembroke upped its record to 7-14.
The first game was close but lack of depth eventually affected the Lady Falcons, who played only six players. For the Lady Falcons, Aurea Griffith (St. Thomas, Barbados) had 12 assists and 11 digs and Vittorio McDuffie (Frankfort, Germany) added eight digs. Alicia Hill led the Lady Braves with a game-high 11 digs.
The Lady Falcons will host Fayetteville State in a CIAA match-up on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at Emery Gym. Match time is set for 2 pm.
