Virginia State topped Saint Augustine’s College 3-0 (30-22, 30-26, 30-27) in a CIAA volleyball match at Emery Gymnasium on Thursday, Sept. 6.

Freshman Brittany Watts (Severn, MO) compiled 13 kills and sophomore setter Tieayrra Glover (Queens, NY) had 28 assists for the Lady Falcons (0-4, 0-1 CIAA). Crystal Hickman recorded eight kills for Virginia State (2-1, 2-0 CIAA).

The Lady Falcons play again Friday, Sept. 7, when they visit Fayetteville State in another CIAA match-up in Fayetteville, NC. The match will start at 6 p.m.
