Saint Augustine’s College lost two volleyball matches by scores of 3-0 on the final day of the Wingate Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 1.

The Lady Falcons (0-3 overall) lost to UNC Pembroke 30-16, 30-13, 30-18 and Queens 30-17, 30-19, 30-21. Curby Rogers (St. Paul, MN) led the Lady Falcons with five kills against UNC Pembroke. Rogers and Shakira Carter (St. Michael, Barbados) both tallied six kills, and Tieayrra Glover (Queens, NY) collected 14 assists against Queens.

The Lady Falcons host Virginia State in their home opener at Emery Gymnasium on Thursday, Sept. 6. The match starts at 6 p.m.
