Four Falcons Will Run In Southeast Regional

WINGATE, NC – Saint Augustine’s College is sending four runners to the 2007 NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 3 at Wingate University.

Ken Samoei (Kenya) and George Smith (Bermuda) will compete in the 10K men’s race, and Erica Young (Raleigh, NC) and Sharona Brown (Manchester, VA) will run in the 6K women’s race. Both Samoei and Young are the 2007 CIAA cross country individual champions, while Smith placed third in the CIAA men’s race and Brown was second in the women’s race. Young led Saint Augustine’s College to the CIAA women’s team title in October.

George Williams Exhibit Debuts at Saint Augustine’s College

Raleigh, NC- With an astounding 29 national championships including the 2007 NCAA Division II men’s and women’s indoor track and field national titles, Saint Augustine’s College will debut “A Force Behind Champions” The George “Pup” Williams Exhibit on Thursday, October 18, 2007, at 5 p.m. on the campus of Saint Augustine’s College in the Seby Jones Fine Arts Gallery.
