St. Aug Celebrates Undergraduate Research Day
Saint Augustine's University and its Honors University hosted the annual Undergraduate Research Day (URD), Friday, April 13. The 2012 URD was themed, "transformation through research and creative expression."
The purpose of URD celebrates the work of students engaged in research and creative endeavors, showcase accomplishments of the University community and inspire and coach those in the early stages of research and creative projects. Students from a wide range of majors presented papers, posters and creative presentations.
"Elevating research activity in the campus community is part of the transformation from a university to a university," stated Elizabeth Fournier, Chairperson of the Undergraduate Research Day committee.

Posters: Roxanne Smith- 1st place
Creative Expression: SIFE Students- 2012 Rookie of the Year- 1st place
Panel Discussions: Ulysses Watkins, Antwoine Coleman, Marcus Spriggs, Dior Lowry, Ashley Nelson,
Brandon Scott, Tasheika Fulmore, Kamya Jabari and Antonio Jones.
