St. Aug Students to be Featured in WRAL Documentary

alt On the evening of November 29, several of our Film & Interactive students were featured as extras for a WRAL documentary, produced by Clay Johnson. "6,149 Days" is based on the Gregg Taylor story, the man who was convicted of murder in 1993 and exonerated of that crime in Feb. 2010.

Our Film students include David Johnson, Miles Valentine, Dante Sellers, Aupenda Simmons, Jasmine Glen, Eric Umstead, and April Qualls. These actors will receive on-screen credit, and on-screen casting credit will include Ellen Shepard, Assistant Professor of Film. This documentary is being filmed in the historic district of downtown Raleigh.

"Being able to participate in the taping was such an intriguing experience." stated Sellers, "I am glad my professor provided me this opportunity."
