This hands-on workshop is open to teenagers, ages 13-18 years, who have a strong interest in learning the craft of professional filmmaking. This is an intensive 9-day workshop that meets every weekday. Students receive training in digital, standard and high definition camera work; shooting in a soundstage; acting for the camera; and non-linear editing. Students will also complete a short fiction video by the end of the workshop. The fee is $300.00 for the 9 days.
The workshop is limited to sixteen teenagers in order to facilitate maximum participation, and offers additional instruction in directing, screenwriting, sound recording, and more.
