What is Extended Studies?

Overview

What are the program admissions?

  • Program Standards for Admission to the ProgramAdult learners (21 and over) who apply for admission into this degree completion program must have earned a high school diploma or GED Certificate (at a minimum). Credits placed on their transcripts upon entry into the degree completion program are those with a grad of “C” or above.Students with earned associate’s degrees from any NC Community/Technical College or with the appropriate undergraduate courses completed can obtain their bachelor’s degrees in as little as 18-24 months.Apply Now →

 

Apply in Six Easy Steps

Step 1: Schedule an appointment by calling 919.516.4618.

Step 2:  Secure an unofficial or official transcript for preliminary evaluation and qualification by an Extended Studies advisor.

Step 3: Meet with an Extended Studies advisor and complete a contact card.

If you qualify:

Qualified applicants proceed to steps 4-6.

Step 4: Complete the admissions/financial aid packet.

Step 5:  Have official transcripts from high school, GED, or each college or university attended sent to:

Step 6: The enrollment process begins!

Will my course credits transfer?

Saint Augustine’s University accepts successfully completed courses from other accredited colleges and universities that correspond with the General Education and elective requirements listed on your plan of study. University representatives and your advisor will determine the number of credits that will transfer from another institution of higher education.
