The Student L.I.F.E (LEGACY, INTEGRITY, FELLOWSHIP, EXCELLENCE) AWARDS were designed to recognize our student organizations, individuals, and their programs for their tremendous effort and impact. GREEK ORGANIZATION OF THE YEAR
This award recognizes the positive contributions a Greek Organization has made to the campus community. It is awarded to the Greek organization who has led with integrity within their organization, while also making significant contributions to the greater campus community. This organization has best promoted the following communal principals: Fairness, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.
REGISTERED STUDENT ORGANIZATION OF THE YEAR
The Registered Student Organization award recognized that through its activities and projects, has had the most significant positive influence at Saint Augustine’s University and the surrounding community. It is based on the number and quality of campus events held, community service performed, involvement with campus events and initiative to further advance the education of Saint Augustine’s University students beyond the classroom.
FALCON COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD – RSO
This award will recognize an organization that has made outstanding contributions through community service or social action to Saint Augustine’s University and/or the surrounding Raleigh community.

This award will recognize a student that has made outstanding contributions through community service or social action to Saint Augustine’s University and/or the surrounding Raleigh community.
STUDENT ADVOCATE OF THE YEAR (Staff)
This award honors a staff member who has been very active and supportive of a student or student organizations co-curricular events and activities. This person has demonstrated active participation, accessibility, and availability at meetings and events. In addition, this individual utilized their knowledge of the university’s resources to the overall benefit of the student and/or organization.
STUDENT ADVOCATE OF THE YEAR (Faculty)
This award is presented to an outstanding faculty member who has gone out of his or her way to engage students inside and outside the classroom to create an advanced learning environment. This award highlights the faculty member whose involvement has exceeded the normal student-teacher interaction and has thus shown a personal interest in the growth of his or her students’ lives.
RESIDENT ASSISTANT OF THE YEAR
This award recognizes a community assistant for their leadership and one who has excelled in their duties as a community assistant. He or she supports their residents, colleagues, and community directors while completing all tasks above expectation.
STUDENT LEADER OF THE YEAR
The nominee for student leader of the year has excerpted dedication to student life and the campus community through their work. This individual has shown dedication through their continuous hard work, dependability, and ability to go above and beyond. This individual has exemplified a commitment to effect positive change on the campus of Saint Augustine’s University. This person has compassion for others and has embodied the spirit of leadership as action not just position.
STUDENT PROGRAM OF THE YEAR
This award goes to the individual or group of individuals that have produced a program or project that has roused the campus or local community. The award recognizes the creative, thorough, well-planned program or project that demonstrates ideals or goals that address a topic or issue to educate and connect the campus community.
