Enrollment Management

Division of Enrollment Management and Student Services

The mission of the Division of Governmental Relations and Enrollment Services is to facilitate communication between the University community and elected officials and government entities at the local and state levels. The Division monitors legislative issues and activities in and works with other North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities in support of higher education, and provides information and analysis to decision makers within government and the university. The office cultivates relationships with elected and appointed officials in an effort to create understanding of issues important to higher education and support for the university’s initiatives. Further, the Division seeks to attract, enroll and provide equitable financial support for a highly diverse class of new and continuing students with outstanding ability and potential and subsequently to improve student retention and graduation rates proportionate to the goals of the University.

Within the Division there are three major operational components: Admissions and Enrollment Services, Financial Aid and the institution’s Early College.
