It would be an understatement to say that I had great hopes for our alma mater moving forward into a new and dynamic era under Dr. McPhail’s leadership. Given this, I hope that what he put in place and envisioned, if only for a short time, will become the beacon that the Board, alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends will use to light our way to a better academic and financial future. I extend my sincere condolences to the McPhail family.
