Mr. Reginald Towns is Saint Augustine’s University new liaison for the Wake County Leadership Academies Early College High School. In 2013, The University secured a partnership with Wake County Public School System which allows Leadership Academy students to enroll in university courses to pursue the Early College portion of their rigorous academy experience. Students may earn a high school diploma while also earning transferable college credit.

Townes’ responsibilities will be to continue to foster this partnership by directly serving the students as well as the needs of the program.

Prior to this new appointment, Towns formerly served as the director of the First Year Experience Program. He also has held the positions as director of Academic Advising and director of Student Activities at the University.

He earned his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in education from the University of Tennessee and a Master’s of Education in higher education leadership from the American InterContinental University.
