Have F.U.N. was the message of Honors Convocation

Alumnus Atty. Bruce Mount Jr. encouraged Saint Augustine’s University honors students to have F.U.N. during the university’s annual honors convocation.

“I’m going to take a few minutes to issue a call to action and implore each and every one of you to have F.U.N., the fierce urgency of now,” Mount said. “I encourage each of you to get involved here at our beloved institution. At a time like this, it is incumbent upon all of us to be a part of the solution and not the problem.”

Mount is a partner at Stuart, Mount, Bleakley & Boylston P.A. in Orlando, Fla. He earned his bachelor of science degree in business administration in 2010.

During the convocation, the university commended nearly 800 students for their distinguished academic achievements. Scholars were recognized for numerous honors such as being on the Dean’s list, being a presidential scholar as well as being a member of an honor society such as Alpha Kappa Mu, Alpha Psi Omega, Beta Kappa Chi, Alpha Sigma Lambda, Lambda Pi Eta, Sigma Tau Delta and Lambda Pi Eta, to name a few.
