Professor Virginia Tyler, Department of Visual and Performing Arts, showcased an item of her work titled Sun + Planet at the Skylight Gallery located in Hillsborough, NC. The event was a miniature museum titled the Triangle Women’s Art Museum on August 29. The work, which sold, was made of coal and a butterfly wing on a silver chain.
