SAU Professor of English, Dr. Joyce Russell, to Appear as Panelist at Celebration of the Women’s Suffrage Movement
With the upcoming anniversaries of the 19th Amendment and the Voting Rights Act, the Raleigh Civic Symphony will perform a concert of music by female and African-American composers. Prior to this, will be a panel discussion, where panelists and the audience will engage in discussions about issues concerning gender, race, and justice as well as technology. This event will take place on Sunday, April 14, 2019, at the Talley Student Union Center on North Carolina State University’s campus. Dr. Joyce Russell, Professor in the English Department of the School of Humanities, Education, Social and Behavioral Sciences, is listed as a panelist.
