Ms. Tonya R. Hines is now the director of Purchasing at the University. Hines previously served as the University cashier since February 2012. She was also employed at the University from 1991-1999.

Hines is an alumna of Saint Augustine’s University where she earned her business management degree. In 2002, she received her Master of Science Degree from Central Michigan University in general administration with a concentration in human resources. Currently, she is pursuing a doctorate degree in leadership for higher education from Capella University.

“Saint Augustine’s University has played an integral role in fostering my passion to serve in higher education,” Hines said. “I believe it’s most important for each member of Saint Augustine’s faculty and staff to never underestimate our responsibility of being necessary change agents in supporting “our” mission to transform, excel and lead. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve in the role of director of purchasing for Saint Augustine’s University.”
